Sunday training times Jan - June 2007 Manchester B were promoted to the top division of the National League with 2 wins from 3 in the playoffs at Walsall this weekend (20-21 Jan). Promotion means that for the first time in the leagues history 2 teams from the same club will be playing in the top flight. A great achievement which demonstrates the clubs commitment to development of young players over the last few seasons. Manchester B won the second division of the National league with 2 convincing wins in the final weekend of competition at the Manchester Aquatic Centre. Beating Leeds and Liverpool B. Unfortunately this does not give them automatic promotion as they will have to play off against the two bottom sides in division 1 and runners up in div 2 for a place in the top flight. The playoffs take place 20-21st of Jan at Walsall. Div 1 teams Haywards Heath and Coventry will play along with second div runners up Harrogate in a "round robin" format with the three top teams taking the places in an expanded div one next season.
